Dr. Brevet - Dentist in Ocean Grove, NJ

Dr. Sarah C. Brevet

Dr. Sarah C. Brevet received her D.M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Upon graduation, she was awarded honors as a member of the dental honor society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon and received an award from the American Society of Dentistry for Children for outstanding proficiency in dentistry for children.

Dr. Brevet is a member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. One of her greatest joys as a dentist is working with Christian Dental Missions, an organization founded by Dr. Whilden, which provides dental care to underdeveloped regions of many parts of the world. She has participated in dental teams with Dr. Whilden in Honduras, Bolivia, Haiti, and India.

Dr. Brevet, her husband, Michael, and their daughter, Mercy, also live in Ocean Grove. The Brevets are active in their church and various organizations. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.


Dr. Whilden - Dentist in Ocean Grove, NJ

Dr. Dale C. Whilden

Dr. Dale C. Whilden graduated with his D.M.D. degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation he received numerous awards including the Johnson and Johnson Preventive Dentistry Award, the Academy of Oral Medicine Award, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award, and the Academy of Periodontology Award. Throughout his career as a dentist, Dr. Whilden has been recognized multiple times including receiving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry and being awarded as one of America's Top Dentists by the Asbury Park Press as a result of a reader's poll.

Among Dr. Whilden's active memberships are the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Monmouth County Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Christian Medical and Dental Society. He has also published numerous articles detailing his experiences with Christian Dental Missions, a non-profit organization that he founded and chairs. Christian Dental Missions organizes teams of dentists who travel to remote regions of the world to provide much needed dental care. Dr. Whilden has volunteered in Ecuador, South Korea, India, Haiti, Honduras, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Nicaragua, and Sierra Leone.

Dr. Whilden and his wife, Carol, live in Ocean Grove. Their son and his wife are now living in California. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, traveling and playing the trumpet with the Praise Team at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Dr. Whilden also serves as a trustee of the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association and is on the board of the New York City Rescue Mission.


Dr. Murphy Ahern - Dentist in Ocean Grove, NJ

Dr. Murphy Ahern

Dr. Murphy Ahern earned her D.M.D degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, she received several awards and honors including induction into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and the Brian D. Stone Memorial Award for volunteerism and caring for patients with special needs. While in dental school, Dr. Ahern was selected to participate in a service trip to provide dentistry for under-served Navajo communities in Arizona. She also helped fellow underclassmen as a tutor in dental school.

She was accepted in, and completed, the highly competitive Jersey Shore University Medical Center’s General Practice Dental Residency in Neptune, New Jersey. Dr. Ahern is an active member of The American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association as well as the local Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.

A lifetime native of Monmouth County from Holmdel, Dr. Ahern enjoys spending time with family and friends and resides in Asbury Park. She is recently married her husband, Zach, and loves yoga, hiking, biking and going to the beach.
